2026 OPOLAB is turning 15 Years. It’s a moment that reminds us how far we’ve come and how much this craft continues to inspire us.

Our story began in 1993, long before OPOLAB officially became a company in 2010. What started as a small model‑making practice has grown into a studio working across architectural scale models, urban design, prototyping, art installations, and sculpture — always with the same commitment to precision and detail.

This year brought a milestone we’re especially proud of: creating two sculptures for the Portuguese Football Federation. It was a meaningful project for our team and a recognition of the care and dedication we bring to every piece we build.

We remain committed to helping architects, designers, engineers, and institutions bring their ideas into the physical world — with accuracy, craftsmanship, and respect for the process.

OPOLAB is a multidisciplinary production studio with more than 30 years of experience turning concepts into precise, tangible and impactful results. From architecture to art, from design to engineering, we work at the intersection of creativity and technology to build what others imagine.

A 1000 m² space built for innovation.

Our studio in Porto brings together over 1000 m² of advanced fabrication technology — CNC, laser cutting, 3D printing, digital modelling, carpentry, metalwork and finishing. This ecosystem allows us to prototype, build and refine projects with the accuracy, scale and speed that modern creators demand.

We develop architectural models, artistic installations, museum pieces, prototypes, sculptures, window displays and custom technical solutions for architects, developers, engineers, designers, museums, artists and brands.
